A hearing is scheduled for next month regarding a lawsuit contesting the results of the District 25 state House Republican Primary Election in May that was won by Chad Puryear of near Hindsville.

Madison County Judge Frank Weaver on Monday expanded a jail advisory board from five people to seven after sheriff-elect Ronnie Boyd objected to not being on the original committee.
