Helping Huntsville High School seniors find their way into the workforce or chart a path through college played a part in Stetson Ledbetter being named Educator of the Year for 2024 by students and fellow faculty.

Austin Wayne Bell of Hindsville will be graduating from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine and College of Public Health on Saturday, May 18, in Little Rock. Before attending UAMS, Austin graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, earning Summa Cum Laude honors.

On Saturday May 4, 2024, the North Arkansas College Adult Education Program held its GED graduation ceremony in the Pioneer Pavilion at North Arkansas College.

Two seniors from Huntsville High School were selected as Arkansas Governor’s Scholastic Honors students.

During a second round of a school calendar survey, Huntsville School District parents and guardians are being asked to complete a paper survey on their top two preferred school calendar choices. Surveys are available at the administration offices through Friday. 

Huntsville School District is asking for input on four calendar options via an online survey available on the district’s website and Facebook page.
