Drug treatment program seeks to break cycle of incarceration for those who choose to stay sober

The Washington/Madison County Drug Treatment Court seeks to break the revolving cycle of incarceration and addiction for defendants who run an abnormally high risk of going to prison, said Fourth Judicial Circuit Judge Cristi R. Beaumont, who presides over the court.
