The Huntsville Eagles softball team lost to the Ste. Genevieve  Dragons 6-1 on March 16 in Jonesboro.

The Huntsville Eagles baseball team defeated Midwestern Ontario 5-3 on March 15 during Tampa Bay Spring Training in Tampa Bay, Fla.

Hard work and passion fuel Huntsville High School Senior Brady Bolinger on the court and field. He plays second base and occasionally pitches for the Eagles baseball team and shows skills as guard on the Eagles basketball team. He is also a member of the National Honor Society (NHS) and interns part time at Ducommun in Huntsville. 

Huntsville’s track and field program is already in high gear, with the team competing thus far in Farmington and Green Forest. Deon Duncan and Brian Garrett, co-head coaches, say they are excited about the season ahead.

The Huntsville Lady Eagles fell 23-8 to Elkins on March 8, despite outhitting the Lady Elks six to five.

The Kingston Sr. Lady Yellow Jackets faced Marked Tree in the first round of the State Basketball Tournament in Harrison last week. The Lady Yellow Jackets fought hard but fell in the fourth quarter with the final score Marked Tree 53, Kingston 48.

The Sylvan Hills Varsity Lady Bears scored six runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat Huntsville 11-1 on Friday.

The Huntsville Eagles got out to a 5-run lead in the first inning and held on for a 6-5 victory over the Ozark Hillbillies on Friday. Ozark closed the gap by scoring on a solo home run, a single, and a double.

With a knack for heavy perseverance, Huntsville High School senior Ethan Wade has worked through severe injuries to start his senior year as center for the Eagles varsity basketball team.

The Huntsville Eagles advanced to the Regional Tournament Thursday in Pea Ridge losing in the first round to Morrilton, 55-35.

Kennedy Smith struck out 14 batters as she led the Huntsville Varsity Eagles past Lincoln 4-3 on Monday. Smith allowed nine hits and three runs over seven innings while walking one.

The Huntsville Eagles baseball team opened the 2024 season with a win at home over the Northwest Arkansas Home School Hornets on Monday.

Congratulations to  the Kingston senior Lady Yellow Jackets, 1-A 1 East Conference and District Champions, and to the senior Yellow Jackets for being 1-A 1 East Co-Conference Champions.

Da’Shawn Chairs of Elkins captured first place on Feb. 3 in the 60-meter dash at the Class 3A Arkansas Indoor Track Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville.

In the first round of the 4A-1 District Tournament Huntsville played Berryville winning 54 to 38.
