The Huntsville girls basketball team split its games last week, dropping a road game at Ozark after going into overtime on Nov. 18, and winning at Haas Hall on Nov. 22.
The Huntsville boys basketball team absorbed a 70-38 loss at Ozark on Nov. 18, but evened its games for the week with a 50-27 win over Haas Hall on Nov. 21, then beat Ozark Catholic on Nov. 22.
On Oct. 28, St. Paul celebrated its own version of “All Saints Day” on the hardwood with all of the Saints basketball teams playing against Haas Hall Fayetteville.

With a revamped lineup, Kingston placed three girls in the top 10 and five in the top 15 to win its fifth consecutive Class 1A State cross country championship.
The National Interscholastic Cycling Association of Arkansas (NICA-AR) state championship race was held at Centennial Park in Fayetteville on Nov. 1-2 with one local athlete qualifying for regional competition.
Northwest Arkansas schools dominated with four teams in the top 10 as Shiloh Christian won the Class 4A Boys Cross Country State Championship with a score of 42. The Saints placed four runners in the top 10 and a fifth runner in the 25th spot.
Elkins (9-1, 7-0 4A-1) defeated Huntsville, 47-0, in the final game of the regular season that completed a four-year winning streak in the 4A-1 and as many conference championships.
