Floyd Calvin Warren, 98, of Huntsville; passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023, at Veterans Administration Hospital, Fayetteville. 

He was born Friday, Sept. 26, 1924, in Huntsville, to Frank and Ruby Adeline Herrington Warren.

Floyd married Anna Lee Taylor on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 1944, in Huntsville, and together they were parents to one daughter, Sharon Warren Chambers. He was a carpenter who was known for his strong work ethic, and running heavy equipment. He also enjoyed spending time on his farm and being outdoors. He loved his family and had a strong Christian faith.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruby Warren; one sister, Odavea Taylor; and one grandchild, Karen Rene McDonald.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Lee Warren, of the home; his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Fred Chambers of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Mike and Ruth McDonald of Springdale, David and Lisa McDonald of Huntsville, and Bobby McDonald of Elkins; five great-grandchildren, Tony McDonald, Megan Webb, Shania McDonald, Anthony McDonald and Brandon McDonald; four great-great-grandchildren, Serera McDonald, Elizabeth McDonald, Mila Gaston and Fiona McDonald; and one sister, Nadine Brannan of Fayetteville.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, at the Huntsville Cemetery. David Harrison officiated. 

Pallbearers were Bobby Bowen, Mike Taylor, Fred Chambers, Bobby McDonald, David McDonald and Mike McDonald. 

Honorary pallbearer was Tony McDonald. 

Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
