Danny Lee Warner, 69, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at his home. 

He was born Monday, Dec. 29, 1952, in Rogers, to Charles Edward and Veturia Creekmore Warner.

Danny married Gwenda Faye McPhate on Saturday, Nov. 1, 1980, in Rogers, and together they were parents to two children. He was employed by J. Johnson Construction until his retirement at age 62. For 13 years, Danny ran various construction equipment and was known for outworking younger crew members. While hunting and fishing were some of his favorite pastimes, his true joy was his family. As a husband, father, and Paw Paw, Danny was dearly loved.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Veturia Warner; one son, David Warner; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Wiladean Douthit, Marty Freeman, Freda and Cleo Freeman, and Frances McCormick; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Lucy Warner, and Richard and Becky Warner.

He is survived by his wife, Gwenda Warner, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Amanda Warner; two grandchildren, Alex Warner and Sky Warner; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and April Warner; and Glen and Diana Warner; and one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Donnie Morgan; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

No formal services will be held. 

Cremation is entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
