The Kingston High Lady Yellow Jackets won their third straight Class 1A state track title last Wednesday in Lincoln.

The Kingston girls track and field team on Monday won the 1A-1 East senior high conference meet in Harrison.

The Kingston Basketball 2022-23 season has come to an end.

The Kingston Senior Lady Yellow Jackets (25-11) will play Taylor (23-6) this week in the 1A State Basketball Tournament in Ozark.

The Senior Girls played Alpena in the District Tournament at Mt. Judea on Wednesday, taking 3rd place. The final score was Kingston 28, Alpena 40. 

On February 7, the Kingston Sr. High teams hosted Eagle Heights for senior night.

On Feb. 3, Kingston played Oark. The final score of the junior boys game was Kingston 54, Oark 13.

On Jan. 17 Kingston hosted Deer. The final score of the Jr. Boys game was Kingston 52, Deer 30.

Kingston High School Senior Karli Myers is effervescent.

On Jan. 10, Kingston hosted Mt. Judea. The final score of the Jr. Lady Yellow Jackets game was Kingston 43, Mt. Judea 7. Emma Kivell led the team with 16 points, followed by Clara Huber with 11 points, Whitlee Stacey with 8 points, LeeLou Kilbourn with 3 points, Kloei Martin with 2 points, Gracie Weaver with 2 points and Kylee Weaver with 1 point. 

Kingston High School senior Jaidyn Head is tiny, but mighty. A multi-sport athlete standing just under 5 feet tall, she plays point guard for the Kingston Lady Jackets basketball team. Off the court, she runs cross-country and track for Kingston. In the classroom she excels, taking college courses while also helping her fellow classmates as a representative for the student council. 

On Jan. 3, Kingston hosted Jasper.

Both Kingston Senior High teams played in the North Arkansas College Tournament in Harrison this past week.

Kingston High School Senior Canton Clark was born to play basketball.

Kingston High School senior Grace Cooper has sports in her blood. Coming from an athletic family, playing sports with her siblings throughout school has propelled Cooper.

On Dec. 13, Kingston hosted Lead Hill. The Jr. Boys started the night off with a win with the final score Kingston 48, Lead Hill 36.

Kingston Senior Girls on Saturday won the 66th Annual Green Forest Holiday Tournament of Champions.

LITTLE ROCK – Several cross-country runners from Madison County were named to the 2022 Al-State team, according to the Arkansas Activities Association.

On Nov. 29, Kingston played Alpena. The final of the Jr. Girls game was Kingston 30, Alpena 17.
