The Kingston Yellow Jackets participated in the Jr. Goblin Rosson Invitational in Harrison on Tuesday, April 9.

The Kingston Yellow Jackets participated in the Goblin Relays in Harrison on March 28 at the Jo T. Cash Track.

Kingston participated in the Jr. Tyson Relays on March 12 in Green Forest.

The Kingston Sr. Lady Yellow Jackets faced Marked Tree in the first round of the State Basketball Tournament in Harrison last week. The Lady Yellow Jackets fought hard but fell in the fourth quarter with the final score Marked Tree 53, Kingston 48.

Congratulations to the Kingston Sr. Lady Yellow Jackets 1-A 1 East Regional, Conference and District Champions.

Congratulations to  the Kingston senior Lady Yellow Jackets, 1-A 1 East Conference and District Champions, and to the senior Yellow Jackets for being 1-A 1 East Co-Conference Champions.

Both Kingston senior high teams played Yellville on Feb. 6. The final score of the Sr. Girls game was Kingston 59, Yellville 53. 

Standing 6-foot 4, Kingston High School Senior Hunter Farrar towers over the competition as center for the Kingston Yellow Jackets basketball team. When he is not on the basketball court, he can be found welding and working in construction with his father, Josh Farrar. 

On Feb. 2, Kingston traveled to Deer to play their last conference game of the season. 

Friday night was a busy night and the gym was packed at Kingston.

Energetic with an immense work ethic, Kingston High School senior Chism Floyd has had a non-traditional high school experience as a home-schooled player. 

Members of the 2024 Class of the Madison County Athletic Hall of Fame were inducted Friday night during the Huntsville Eagles basketball game against Gravette.

The Kingston Jr. Lady Yellow Jackets played Bergman in the Alpena Tournament, on Jan. 18,  with the final score Kingston 18, Bergman 47.

The Madison County Hall of Fame will honor great area athletes with ceremonies beginning Friday at the Activity Center in Huntsville. Two other induction ceremonies are set for later in the month in Kingston and St. Paul.

On Jan. 11,  Kingston hosted Omaha. The final score of the junior girls game was Kingston 40, Omaha 8. Whitlee Stacey led the team with 14 points followed by Kierra Williams with 9 points,  Kylee Weaver with 7 points, Reese Pittman with 4 points, Clara Huber with 3 points, and  Leelou Kilbourn with 3 points.

Both senior high teams played in the NAC Tournament on Dec. 27. The Kingston Lady Yellow Jackets played Valley Springs with the final score Kingston 52, Valley Springs 62. 

On Dec. 12, Kingston played Omaha. The final score of the Jr. Girls game was Kingston 36, Omaha 13. 

Congratulations to both senior high Kingston Yellow Jackets basketball  teams for taking first place in the Green Forest Holiday Tournament. 

Congratulations to Chanlr Mitchell for ranking eighth out of 178 in the Girls Division in  the Archery Tournament at Valley Springs on Saturday. 

Since she could dribble a ball, Kingston High School senior Rilee Pittman has been in the game. She proves herself on the court as a small forward and power forward for the Kingston Lady Yellow Jackets basketball team. When her feet are off of the court, they can be found pounding the ground as part of the Kingston Yellow Jackets track team. When not participating in athletics, Pittman helps out on her family’s cattle farm while raising her own sheep on the farm. In her free time, she enjoys hunting.
