Thelma Lou Walker, 75, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at her home. 

She was born Friday, Dec. 27, 1946, in Dillsboro, N.C., to George and Arti Louellen Green Sutton.

Thelma married Henry M. Walker on Friday, Aug. 28, 1964, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and together they were parents to three children. 

She was a testing technician for Ducommun Incorporated for 19 years. Reading, traveling, and sewing clothing were some of Thelma’s favorite activities. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents. 

She is survived by her husband, Henry Walker of the home; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sharon and Patrick Driscoll of Virginia and Susan Walker of Springdale; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Sara Walker, of Georgia; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Bryant and Jennifer Sutton and Gary Sutton, all of Oregon; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Phyllis Sutton and Rebecca and Burge Hart, both of Idaho; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

No formal services will be held per Thelma’s request. 

Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
