Shirley Masterson, 83, of Lowell, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, in Fayetteville.  She was born Friday, Aug. 13, 1937, at St. Paul, to Vernon William and Mollie M. Bryant Ogden.

Shirley was mother to two children.  She was an Executive Secretary and Employee Benefits Coordinator for Arkansas Western Gas for 36 years. Shirley was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church and served as a past secretary and treasurer of the Ledbetter Cemetery Board.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Buford Williams and James “Cliff” Masterson; one grandson, Jared Morgan; and one brother, Jerry Ogden.  

She is survived by her son, Brian Williams of Elkins; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Mike Morgan of Lowell; former daughter-in-law, Theresa Williams of Elkins; two grandchildren, Faith Morgan and Ellen Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Williams and Isabella Graham.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020, at Brashears Funeral Home.  Please practice social distancing and masks are required for entry. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, at Brashears Funeral Home with Rex Griffin officiating.  

Pallbearers will be John Curtsinger, Barrett Curtsinger, Brian Williams, Travis Grogan, Kendall Worley, Jacob Williams and James Clark.  

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Ogden, Mike Morgan and Darin Ogden.  

Interment will immediately follow services at Ledbetter Cemetery, Japton.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Shirley’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 5506 West Walsh Lane, Suite 212, Rogers, Ark., 72758.  

Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
