Robbie Jane Griggs, 85, of Huntsville, passed away Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville.
She was born Tuesday, July 14, 1936, in White Oak, Ark., to Joe and Quixie Smith Hudspeth.
Robbie married Roy Faye Griggs on Thursday, Nov. 10, 1955, in Huntsville, Ark., and together they were parents to three children.
She worked for Tyson Foods on the production line and was a member of the Marble Baptist Church. Robbie enjoyed singing, gardening, canning, reading western novels, attending to animals on the farm, and spending time with her family.
Robbie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Griggs; and their son, Jimmy Griggs.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Shirley Griggs and Dennis and Brenda Griggs, both of Marble; one brother, Leroy Hudspeth of Marble; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home. Due to Covid-19, practicing of social distancing and masks was required.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, at Marble United Baptist with Coy Siegrist officiating.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Griggs, Joe Jordan, Kalab Griggs, Dean Holt, Matt McGarrah and Travis McGarrah.
Honorary pallbearers will be Richard LeBoeuf, Bradley Woods, David Stevens, Dakota Stevens, Michael Stevens and Robbie St. Claire.
Interment will immediately follow services at Lower Campground Cemetery, Marble.
Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
