Norris Eugene Lindley, 90, of Huntsville, passed away Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at his home. 

He was born Saturday, Aug. 8, 1931, in Jonesboro, to the late Henry Elbert and Mary Lillian Calvert Lindley.

Norris grew up in the Loredo community. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. 

Norris resided in Colorado, but lived in Huntsville for the last 15 years. He was a farmer, a truck driver, and of Baptist faith. He enjoyed his family and friends.

Norris was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice Anna Jackson Lindley; his sister, Ruth Calvert; and three sons, Alvin Jackson, Larry Lindley, and Leon Jackson. 

He is survived by Crystal and Jack Scott of Huntsville; Diane Mathews of Jonesboro; Judy Mattarocchia of Salida, Colorado; Cecil Lindley of Jonesboro; Gary and Marie Jackson of Grand Junction, CO; Connie Jones of Jonesboro, Arlene Baker of Hindsville, Darlene and Kirk Westphal of West Fork; one sister, Martha Brown of Little Rock, and lot of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at Bohannan Mountain Cemetery. Max Bowlin officiated. 

Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
