Nadine Jones of Huntsville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021.
She is survived by her son, Bill, of Dallas, Texas; her brother, Bob, of Huntsville; and her sister, Ouida of Dallas; as well as three grandchildren, McKenzie (Patrick), Tanner and Kaitlyn (David); and seven great-grandchildren, Peyton, Davis, Emma, Hadley, Ryan, Boone and Evelyn. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life, and every moment being with them, stories about them, or pictures of them, made her days complete.
Nadine was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Huntsville and loved the Lord with all her heart. She reached out to all and had all the positive attributes of spirituality: she was loving, funny and loyal. Those tenets of how to live our lives, she taught us well. Nadine first loved her God, secondly her family, and then her friends, which were endless.
Nadine spent countless days at the Madison County Senior Center and cherished every moment of camaraderie and laughs. Good friends all and many fun moments with Charlie Whorton.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Harold; mother, Willie; and her father, Buck.
To paraphrase 2nd Timothy: “She fought the good fight, finished the race, kept the faith, and now will enjoy the fruits of her labors.”
Due to the Covid crisis, there will be no service held for her at this time. There will be a memorial service held at a future date at the Madison County Senior Center.
Remembrances and donations may be made to the Madison County Senior Center: P.O. Box 598, Huntsville, Arkansas 72740, in the name of “Nadine Jones,” or to a charity of one’s choice.
Services entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory, Huntsville.
