Marian Edith Jazbinschek, 92, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Countryside Assisted Living in Huntsville, Ark. 

Marian was born on March 19, 1930, in Chicago Ill., the daughter of Charles and Dorothea Kirwin.

Her childhood was spent in Forest Park, Ill., where she married Louis Jazbinschek and gave birth to three children. In 1968, the family moved to Boxley and then moved to Kingston in 1979. Marian was very involved in the Kingston community. Her interests included the Kingston Community Library, Kingston Volunteer Fire Department, Fair on the Square, being a volunteer CPR instructor, working as a substitute teacher at the Kingston School, and much more.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents and husband. 

She is survived by three children, Jerri Chase, Mary Hickman and Mathieu Jazbinschek; three grandchildren, Jason Jazbinschek, Kelli Mischke and Bobbie Dee Hickman III; and three great-grandchildren, Piper Mischke, Pierce Mischke and Mary Edith Ruth Hickman (Edee).

Burial in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boxley will be private, with a memorial service at a later date.

The family asks for any donations in her memory to go to the Friends of the Kingston Community Library. 

Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory, Huntsville.
