James Roy Beaver, 75, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Northwest Medical Center, Springdale. 

He was born Thursday, Oct. 24, 1946, in Huntsville, to Rollie Wesley and Florence Eileen Brown Beaver.

Jim married Debbie Kay Prouty on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at Forum, and together they were parents to three children. His devotion to the Lord led him to become a member of the Forum Church of Christ. In addition, he was a member of the Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed watching Razorback athletics, farming, tending cattle, antiquing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Florence Beaver; and one sister, Janie Beaver. 

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Beaver, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Jennifer Beaver of Farmington; two stepsons and a daughter-in-law, Brian and Candice Whorton of Shreveport, La., and Bobby Whorton of Huntsville; eight grandchildren, Trevin Beaver, Landen Beaver, Brycin Beaver, Elijah Beaver, Blake Whorton, Credence Frith, Caden Whorton and Addison Whorton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kelly and Silvia Beaver of McKinney, Texas, and Bob and Hazel Beaver of Clifty; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 25, 2022, at Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory.  Robert Waters and Ivy Conner officiated. 

Pallbearers were Wes Beaver, Brett Beaver, Jason Villines, Charlie Casey, Elmer Robertson and Danny Oliver. 

Honorary pallbearers were Charlie Hudgins, Jack Hudgins and the congregation of the Forum Church of Christ. 

Interment immediately followed services at Beulah Union Cemetery, Eureka Springs. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Craig Hospital, 3425 S. Clarkston St., Englewood, CO 80113. 

Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
