Jack Boyd, 94, of Huntsville, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville.
He was born Saturday, Nov. 10, 1928, in Drakes Creek, to Gilbert and Maggie Pennington Boyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son, James Boyd; his grandmother, Dora Boyd; and his sister, Barbara Ledbetter.
He is survived by two daughters, Janice and Larry Manry, and Janie Boyd, all of Fayetteville.
He is also survived by six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held at the Drakes Creek Cemetery on Saturday, Jan. 21.
Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
