Gary Wilson Bunch, 75, of Kingston, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, at home. He was born Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1946, in Fayetteville, to Jesse Wilson and Fred Evon Duty Bunch.

He was a banker for the Bank of Kingston and a member of the Boxley Baptist Church. Gary lived a colorful life, filled with countless experiences and surrounded by a multitude of friends. Taking full advantage of every opportunity to enjoy rodeo, four-wheeling, and motorcycling, Gary lived life to the fullest. In addition, time spent fishing and enjoying the river with his “favorite grandman”, Cole, were also treasured moments for him.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Fred Evon Bunch; his grandmother, Orphea “Mama” Duty; and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Bunch, of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Amanda Bunch of Kingston; and one grandson, Cole Bunch of Kingston.

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory. Larry Mitchell officiated. 

Pallbearers were Dennis Donahou, Brad Hathorn, David Howard, Scott Webb, Derek Donahou, Chase Hathorn, Slater Shrum, Caiden Barron and Rick Culver. 

Honorary pallbearers were Danny Bolinger, Tom Shrum, Joe Shrum, John Thompson, Jack Combs, Guy Teel, Bob Wilson, Jimmy Peacock, Freddie Fitch, Butch Fancher, Gary Farmer, Cliff Fancher and Bob Bunch. 

Interment followed services at Kingston Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gary’s name may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Playground Fund (P.O. Box 1019, Huntsville, AR 72740), Huntsville Friendship Club (P.O. Box 762, Huntsville, AR 72740), or Ralph Baker Scholarship (22185 Highway 23, Huntsville, AR 72740). 

Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
