Fred Grigg Jr., 78, of Springdale, died Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Northwest Medical Center.  
He was born Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1942, in Marble to Fred and Bertha Littrell Grigg.
Fred was previously married to Frances Louise Grigg and together they were parents to two children. He worked for Richard’s Furniture before starting his own business, Grigg’s Furniture, with his brother, Kenneth.  
Fred married Laura Knapton on Monday, June 2, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nev. He loved to travel, especially to Silverton, Colo. Fred was an avid supporter of the Springdale High School football team and was active in Cub Scouts with his son, Fred III. He also took great pride in maintaining an impeccable lawn, garage and vehicle. Fred also dearly loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Frances Louise Grigg; and his siblings, Kenneth Grigg, Donald Grigg, Mary Virginia Lee and Betty Miller.  
He is survived by his wife, Laura Grigg of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and James Elliott of Rogers; one son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Andrea Grigg III, of Conway; two grandchildren, Katherine Grigg and Caleb Grigg; and his siblings, JT and Christine Grigg of Huntsville, JW Grigg of Harrisonville, Mo., and Ronald Grigg of Huntsville; two stepgranddaughters, Desiree Meyer and Mandy Sanders; stepgreat-grandchildren, Rion Meyer, Reid Meyer, Raign Meyer, Lawson Sanders, Logan Sanders and Levi Sanders; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home.  
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home with Coy Siegrist officiating.  
Pallbearers will be James Elliott, Caleb Grigg, Jim Teeter, Ronald Grigg Jr., Don Grigg and Carroll Smith.  
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Grigg, Katherine Grigg, Ace Marshall and Rion Meyer.  
Interment will immediately follow services at Lower Campground Cemetery.  
Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
