Donald Ray Burk, 65, of Kingston passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at Washington Regional Medical Center.  

He was born Wednesday, June 8, 1955, in Prairie Grove to Clyde and Velma Eaton Burk.

Donald was a 1973 graduate of Kingston High School.  After graduation, Donald joined the United States Army, proudly serving his country completing two tours in Germany, and remaining enlisted for 13 years. He was father to three sons. He married Leslie McCollough Burk on Saturday, May 4, 2013, in Eureka Springs and they made their home in Kingston. He attended Lower Campround Church and was a member of the American Legion in Kingston. Donald enjoyed spending quality time with his siblings, Doug and Martha, and helping his in-laws, Frank and Linda McCollough, on their farm. He spent countless hours wood working in his shop on various projects, and was a school bus driver for Huntsville and Kingston Public Schools.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Jeffrey Burk.  

He is survived by his wife, Leslie of the home; two sons, Scott Burk and David Burk, both of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter-in-law, Chris Burk Sewell of Hollister, Mo.; one brother, Douglas Burk of Kingston; one sister, Martha Bell of Berryville; eight grandchildren; four nephews; and six nieces.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at Kingston Cemetery with Frank Weaver officiating.  

Pallbearers were family and friends.  

Honorary pallbearers were members of the American Legion.   

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion, P.O. Box 122, Kingston, Ark.,  72742.  

Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
