Diana Baldwin, 81, of Seabrook, S.C., passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at home.
She was born Saturday, Dec. 16, 1939, in Loma Linda, Calif., to Carl Vernon and Faye Geneva Kelley Miller.
Diana married Alvin Dale Baldwin on Saturday, June 30, 1979, in Charleston, S.C., and was mother to five children. She was a field agent for the Area Agency on Aging and a member of Community Bible Church in Beaufort, S.C., and Living Waters Baptist Church in Huntsville. Diana loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and was known as a great seamstress. She was also known for her enjoyment of simple pleasures such as a cold Coke Zero, strawberry milkshakes, and dill pickles.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin; one daughter, Bonnie Hauser; and one brother, Paul Miller.
She is survived by her three sons and two daughters-in-law, David and Tobi Scott of Seabrook, S.C., Jack and Crystal Scott of Huntsville, and Jeff Scott of Witter; one daughter and two sons-in-law, Faye and Perry Potts of Springdale and Bill Hauser of Huntsville; three brothers, Gerald Miller, Robert Miller and Charles Miller; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home, Marty Abbott and Gary Faulkner officiated.
Pallbearers were JR Scott, Drew Scott, Preston Scott, Christopher Scott, Ashley Scott, Mally Sawney, Perrie Yu and Regina Douangmala.
Interment immediately followed services at Venus Cemetery.
Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
