Carol Lee Thomas, 79, of Huntsville, gained her heavenly angel wings Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, comfortably at the Circle of Life, Springdale.
She was born March 11, 1942, in Brewster, Wash., to Vernon and Violet Rosendahl Waddell.
Carol married Carl Wayne Thomas on Oct. 8, 1958, in Pateros, Wash., and together they were parents to three children. She was a former bus driver for the Huntsville School District for 25+ years.  
Carol was preceded in death by one son, Charles “Charlie” Thomas; her husband, Wayne Thomas; and her parents.  
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Leah Thomas of Huntsville and Cary and Teresa Thomas of Fort Smith;  two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick and Nancy Waddell, and Bill and Jean Waddell, all of Pateros, Wash.; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jimmy and Magnolia Thomas, Jeremy and Lauren Thomas, Dustin Thomas, Jessica and Toby Hignite, and Lyndie and John McCoy; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home, Glen Thomas officiated.  
Pallbearers were Phillip Thomas, Jerrad Thomas, David Canion, Cody Bankston, Donny Rodebush and Josh London.  
Interment immediately followed services at Aurora Cemetery.  
Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
