Carl Wayne Martin, 55, of Marble, died Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at home.
He was born Thursday, Aug. 19, 1965, in Springdale to Wayne Martin and Carlene Burk Kemp.
Carl married Deborah Powell on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Withrow Springs, Ark., and together they were parents to three children.  She was the love of his life and he dearly loved his family. He was hard-working, and employed as a mechanic for Peterbilt in Lowell. Carl was a member of Astounding Grace Church and he enjoyed farming, working on cars and going to flea markets in his spare time.
Carl was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Martin; his stepmother, Sydney Martin; his stepfather, Newel Kemp; and one stepsister, Emily Rickert.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Martin of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Carl Jr., and Loretta Martin, of Fort Smith; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Mallary and Scotty Phillips of Fort Smith; and Mikayla and Nick Melson of Huntsville; his siblings, Linda Fowler, and Charles and Iris Martin; his stepsiblings, Misti McKamy, Patti Lewis, Elizabeth Bowen, Christina Forks, Cynthia Davis, Tony Kemp, Terry Kemp, Rick Kemp and Robert Kemp; and 11 grandchildren, Chloe, Carson, Caiden, Erik, April, Bobbie Jo, Sylius, Clifton, Lucas, Titus, and Samantha.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Big Sandy Cemetery and Pastor Gary Martin officiated.
Pallbearers were Sam Fowler Jr., Byron Fowler, Brett White, Carl Martin, Jr., Scotty Phillips and Jacob McKamy.
Honorary pallbearers were Dean Martin, Buck Martin, Tim Burris, Kenny Yarbrough and Waylon White.
Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
