Beulah Faye Litterell, 100, of Huntsville, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, at home.  
She was born Friday, Aug. 20, 1920, in Hindsville to Virgil Lee and Etta Guthrie Phillips, and a twin sister to Eula.
Beulah married Martin VanBuren Litterell on Saturday, April 25, 1942, at Forum and together they were parents to six children. She was a homemaker, and a member of Christ Lighthouse Church. As a young woman, she worked alongside men in the farm fields. She loved cooking, canning, gardening, quilting and crocheting.  Beulah enjoyed traveling to Washington where she would spend the winters with her grandchildren. She was the matriarch of the Virgil Phillips family, who was blessed with over 100 descendants at the time of her passing. She was the glue that held them all together, and dearly loved each and every one.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Litterell; one son, Edward Litterell; her parents, Virgil and Etta Phillips; one grandson, Todd Litterell; one great-grandson, Patrick Litterell; one great-great-grandson, Dominic Gonzalez; and siblings Thelma Phillips, Doyle Phillips, Ray Phillips, Curtis Phillips, Kenneth Phillips, Nola Phillips Jones, Eula Phillips Light and Lee Phillips.  
She is survived by her children, Junior and Loretta Litterell of Hindsville, Bill Litterell of Huntsville, Delane Ross of Huntsville,  Donna and Bill Long of East Wenatchee, Wash., and Danita and Kevin Sears of Fayetteville; 15 grandchildren, Todd Litterell, Tanis Jones, Donnie Litterell, Dennis Litterell, Dean Litterell, Darren Litterell, Dion Litterell, James Hopper, Tina Cornelison, Ricky Litterell, Brad Long, Dewayne Long, Donnita Reynolds, Kristy Butler and Amy Knyzewski; 43 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, at Brashears Funeral Home with Jessie Davis officiating.  
Pallbearers were Donnie Litterell, Dennis Litterell, Dean Litterell, Darren Litterell, Dion Litterell and Daniel Litterell.   
Honorary pallbearers were Justin Litterell, Ruben Litterell, Dewayne Long, Brad Long, Ricky Litterell, James Hopper, Joe Cornelison, Johnathon Cornelison and Alex Cornelison.
Interment followed services at Huntsville Cemetery.  
Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
