Family offers thanks for community support

Dear editor:

Words cannot describe how we have felt the last few months.  We would like to begin with thanking everyone that put together the benefit on Saturday for our family.  Thank you to everyone that came out to support us.

Over the last few months, we have received so many texts, phone calls, cards, and food that we would like to thank them as well.

Our family has been wrapped up in the arms of this amazing community of family and friends.

We have said it before and we will continue to say it, we are proud to live in this community and are truly blessed beyond measures.  No deed was unnoticed no matter the size.

Last but definitely not least, thank you all for your thoughts and most importantly your prayers.  God has blessed us and we all know that Doug being here with us today has to do with Him and all the uplifting prayers.

Parks Department praised for Mitchusson

Dear editor:

This last Saturday, we held an event at Mitchusson Park to thank our law enforcement, fire fighters, and first responders for their service to this community. It was well attended and we would like to thank everyone who attended.

But there is another BIG THANK YOU needed. That thank you needs to go to the Parks Department and those people who take care of the park itself. What a wonderful job they do in keeping the grounds mowed and trimmed. Everything look perfect and Huntsville should be proud to have such nice facilities for families to enjoy. That’s only one of the reason we love Huntsville. Thank you so much.
