Where were reactions to flu under Obama?

Dear editor:

Below are official statistics from the 2009 H1N1 (SWINE) Flu Pandemic: “From April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010, CDC estimated there were 60.8 million cases 274,304 hospitalizations and 12,469 deaths in the United States.”  [This figure was not inflated (there were no incentives to commit fraud, like getting paid for Covid-19 cases and deaths); but, in view of the current (and past four years) political endeavors to destroy a Presidency, it was more likely underestimated.]

Who  remembers  the  media creating  fear  and  panic, “social distancing,”  mayors and governors  ordering  businesses and churches to shut down, “protests” and riots allowed (even encouraging) with no concern for the spreading of the virus, and the public wearing “masks” at any time during the Obama administration? Was the President criticized at all for his role in handing the pandemic? I remember NONE of these things.

It is okay: 1) to believe Covid-19 is real, as are other deadly contagious diseases; 2) to think that everyone has a right to wear a mask or not, if the concern if one’s health or someone else’s health, and 3) to be certain that the virus is being used for political purposes and control as never before in the history of the world.

Thank you for allowing me to express my opinion in your “opinion section.” If you think what I’ve written above is inaccurate feel free to reply or ask someone else to so do.
