Dear editor:

A personal cat of Witter residents Larry and Cherie Kacmarcik wandered away from their home. After being missing for 6 days, their young feline friend, Buddy Wuddy was found almost a quarter mile from their home, and more than 75 feet up in an oak tree. He was cold, weak, starving and frightened. Their son, Raymond Graham of Barling, AR, a skilled builder and roofer, used the longest extension ladder he had followed by more than a dozen roof jack nailed to the tree to perform the amazing rescue.  Little Buddy Wuddy is home safe, enjoying a can of fresh tuna, and taking a long overdue nap.

Respectfully,

– Larry Kacmarcik
